Kunstraum Potsdam
With the Kunstraum the Waschhaus provides a forum for contemporary visual art and its border areas, which reflects aesthetically and socially important issues and conveys an exciting interplay of present artistic positions in various contemporary media such as painting, drawing, photography, object art, installation and video. Communication and exchange are important factors. The Kunstraum Potsdam shows around eight exhibitions a year. In addition to the focus on cooperation with outstanding, nationally or internationally known artists, experimental artistic approaches of young, not yet established artists who enter into ventures beyond common representation ideas, are regularly promoted.
